Can you restore all the programs you paid for if you restore with Time Machine?

Hi,

I accidentally uninstalled my Safari and now I have to reinstall my entire OS. So before I do that, may I just know if I will get back all the file, installed programs and apps on my mac? For instance, my Microsoft Office suite, Matlab, and other paid softwares. Thank you!!

Open Time Machine and see if those items are there. Unless you have specifically excluded them, they should be.
