I have attempted to reset my appleid password but am not receiving the email from apple

THe promised email from Apple for resetting my Apple ID password has not been received despite many attempts.

iPad Air, iOS 8.2

I understand that you are not receiving your password reset email when you try to change your Apple ID password. In this situation, I would recommend reading over the attached article for suggested troubleshooting for this situation.
