Q: Location sharing.

WWe have one Apple account with multiple devices. We would like to have location sharing turned on. each phone sharing location with the other. The problem is as currently setup, only the account holders location can be shared on either phone. There is no way to have my wife's phone share her location with me. Can we change that or do we have to set up two accounts?

Hello Chinamac1,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!

I understand that you would like to be able to see the location of multiple devices in your family and have those devices see your device’s location as well. There are a couple of different ways you can accomplish this.

First I would suggest looking into Family Sharing. This will allow everyone in the group to still have access to all of the purchases on the main Apple ID for the iTunes and App Store, but each person in the group will have their own Apple ID as well. For more information on setting up Family Sharing and using location with Family Sharing, please review the following attached articles.
