My iPhone 6 is overheating during phone calls. Any ideas?

Remove the app and see if the problem stops.
Colleagues in my office could not believe the app might be the cause of the problem. We debated this, but I deleted the app as an experiment to see if that made a difference. After only one phone call post-deletion (a limited data set) my phone seems to have returned to normal. Thanks Meg St._Clair, you are a briliant cat!
Sounds like a really badly written app. Glad you got it sorted out!
My iPhone 6 is a few months old and generally functioning well. Today it began heating up during telephone calls. I added the Genius app (lyrics search) yesterday. Might that cause the heating? Any other ideas?
