Q: Updated my iPad and can't get past agreeing to T

Updated my iPad and can't get past agreeing to t&c as the part on my screen where u have to agree is broke. Is there any way around this or will it only be resolved when screen is fixed?

    Try a device reset and start over again with the setup.

     

    Device Reset (won't affect settings/data/music/apps/etc)

     

    1. Press and hold (& continue to hold) BOTH the Sleep/Wake button & the Home button.

    2. Continue to hold BOTH (ignoring any other messages that may show) until you see the Apple logo on the screen.

    3. Release BOTH buttons when you see the Apple logo and allow the device to boot normally.

     

    Re-reading the post, I now see your issue more clearly...can you rotate the screen (be sure Orientation Lock is disabled) to have the "agree" tap-able section in a different physical place (out of the bad section) on the screen so the bad part of the screen will be in a different area? Give that a try.
