I Had a nano that I could pick up local radio stations to listen to while riding my bike. I got an iPod touch for a present but it doesn't have that same feature the nano had. Is there a FM tuner I could download so I could pick up radio stations?

No, the iPod touch does not have a radio tuner. The tuner is hardware, not software.
So there is no way to fix this without buying a nano? What was Apple thinking, the touch does almost everything but pick up local radio. Rats!

There were ones for older devices with the 30-pin dock and yo might be able to find a used on one eBay or similar.
