Q: 2014 Mac Book Pro won't boot

2014 MBP SSD w/Retina Display won't boot. Machine was running fine and exhibited no problems. But when I try to power up the screen stays dark.

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Yosemite (10.10.2)
