autosampler in apple lossless format?

I've been sampling my K2500 with autosampler, and all is well, but because I need 8 velocity layers the instrument is huge. Does anyone know how to get autosampler to generate an EXS instrument not with AIFFs but rather CAFs? This way I could batch re-save them with lossless compression (ALAC).
