Why can I not send email from my contacts folder?

It sounds like you're clicking the email icon in Contacts on your iPhone 6 Plus, but then you're not able to send the email message that pops up.

That's a bug. Report it to Apple at http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html

You can work around the problem by re-entering the To email address but that sort of defeats the purpose.
