I have a macbook pro 2011. I can't watch a few videos because my flash player is out of date. I have OS X YOESEMITE installed. When I try to update it, i get as far as 30% when using safari and 25% when I use any other browser. Can anyone help please?

You need to close the browsers when install Flash Player.
I have discovered that if you are on a Mac and have anything past system 10.9, you need to click on "other computers" rather than use the standard installation for Mac, to get to installation for later versions. This after months of assuming the standard Mac install would work for 10.9 and ABOVE. I have 10.10 and struggled with this until I found that the answer was in versions compatibility. No major multi-step solution required. Good luck.
