Connect Cinema Display to new the new 2015 Macbook?

I'm possibly interested in the new macbook, but right now I don't see a clear way of connecting it to my Cinema Display. I see Apple is going to sell an adapter from USB-C but it's to HDMI not MiniDisplayPort. Are there other adapters out there? Yes, I know the MBP still has Thunderbolt, etc. This is a question specifically regarding the new 2015 MB.

There are USB-C to DisplayPort (and Mini DisplayPort if you add another adapter) adapters

but unlike the Apple adapters, they do not have any way to charge the MacBook while the display is connected.

You could use the Apple HDMI adapter and a HDMI to Mini DisplayPort converter

but it won't give full resolution with a 27" display
