my iPad mini 8.2 screen does not go to sleep

My mini os 8.2 screen stay on ( doesn't even dim) until the battery runs ......down unless I hit the top button. I can't find an "energy saver "like my MacBook Pro.

Go to settings > general > auto lock, from there you can choose how many mins the iPad stays on in idle.
