I've got an error when downloading Mac OS X Update Combined 10.6.8 var.
There is a install.log error message:
Product 031-11255: no package found for identifier a
I would like to know what 'Product 031-11255' is.

We are users like you. We don't have that sort of information. But that updater does not work with 10.7, so perhaps there is a connection.

I mean Ethernet connection is enough.....don't need airport connection.
Why should i need Airpot connection with KDC sharepoints?

Apple have to use Ethernet first..., not airpot connection because airport network is not safe herein Korea~!

If you don't want to use Wi-Fi, then turn it off on your computer.

I've never used Airport network for surfing to the internet on iMac.
I don't want to use Airport network, Ethernet is enough.

Actually, all you need do is turn it off as shown in your first panel. The checked items in the second panel aren't needed other than the first one.
I don't know why you get those log entries. A package is referenced but not found. The package is for Airport Utility.

I think someone(General Telecom Company such as KT in Korea) have interrupted to connect Airport network around here.
I've got an error on console message below when i turn iMac on every time:
" ERROR | -[LWBuiltInScreenLockAuth preLoad] | Failed to load BuiltInAuth nib "
iMac is mine but It' s not under my control....😠
WiFi is free in korea...so it's not safe here.
I think KT want to control my iMac without me....😕 funny....terrible~ ~
