Cant install iOS 8.2 because I don't know my code

Haven't updated in ages, now have enough storage to do so and keeps asking for 4 digit code? my restrictions were off, I turned them on and put in a 4 digit code then tried it, still not working. I've tried 3 times now and not sure how many times I can get this wrong without causing a problem. Help please!!
