Facetime not working

HI everybody

bought my Iphone 6 16 gb in UAE non-official store in December 31 2014, with facetime ENABLED IOS. using local sim card from DU www.du.ae

everything was perfect, facetime calls everyday, no issues.

during last 10 days can't use any facetime calls, audio and video. iphone recieves facetime call, shows "connection" on screen, and then disconnects. when i'm dialing, seems like other person don't answer my call.

tried everythng, soft reset, erase data settings, logout login to icloud - nothing helps.

please help

iPhone 6, iOS 8.2

FT is banned in your country, and will not work even on phone not made for the non-UAE market.

since what time is it banned in uae?

i'm telling you that it was working normally three months, and problem started about 10 days ago. approx after IOS 8.2 update.

It has been banned since FaceTime became available about 3 years or so ago. Just because it was working before, does not mean it will now. Consider yourself lucky that you had it for 3 months. The update probably closed the loop.

There is nothing more to do. Sorry.

but still can't believe it's true, and hope it will works again after 8.3

to be honest, 1 of 10 calls was successful.

It is true and 8.3 will probably not "fix" it as there is nothing to fix.

just updated to 8.3 and facetime starts to work perfectly - audio and video.

Same issue with me. I was Etisalat and it was not working so I changed to Du and it was working perfectly in LTE for the past 10 month but since a month it is not working anymore. It is showing connection but not connecting, even the 8.3 update did not fix it.

Is yours still working fine in 3G or LTE?

Hey I'm having the same issue it works fine sometimes if you restart your phone n try to call it works fine and even if you are on same wifi at home it works on both side i don't know why they block it
