Small dent on iPhone, warranty void?

My iPhone is under warranty, I was getting a problem of receiver in it. The hearing volume was too low to even listen. So I took it to Apple Service Center. They said the problem is verified and the phone needs to be replaced, but cannot be replace because of the DENT, a small sized "ANT SIZED DENT".

What should I do?

iPhone 5s, iOS 7.1.2

No, the dent should not affect your warranty. Replacement or not is their option, your right is to insist on them repairing the volume (and not the dent). A good store would repair or even replace the phone for you (but a bad one may try to link the volume problem with the dent! 😕)

This is not correct information. A dent can certainly void the warranty. Most Apple Stores do not do onsite repairs (except for and only in some stores, batteries and screens). If the OP has their phone opened by anyone othr than Apple or an Authorized Apple Repair center, they will not be eligible for an out-of-warranty replacement from Apple nor will they be eligible for any recall programs that might happen.
