title browser frozen

I'm using iMovie 9.0.8. I've never had an issue with this before now. Out of nowhere the title browser function is completely frozen. Every time I click on it, I have to close iMovie. I've tried cleaning up computer, disk repair, and rebooting. Nothing has worked. Any advice?

iMovie '11, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)
