VPN server not responding on iPhone but working on laptop

I have a VPN configured on my iPhone that I also use on my laptop. The VPN is needed to view a development site I'm working on. The VPN was working fine for the past 3 months, but suddenly for the past two weeks, I can't view the website on my phone. I am still able to connect to the VPN without any problem, but when I try to go to the site, it says "Safari cannot open the page because the server cannot be found." I can view the site on my computer, so I don't think there's anything wrong with the server. I just did the latest software update hoping that it would resolve the problem, but it's still not working. I also deleted and recreated the VPN but it won't load the page.
