I Do not have a virus but just was wondering because I want to download this web based app and I know they could possible have viruses but would Apple cover A virus if I ever got one?

Only if you modify (jailbreak) your device, it would be vulnerable for malware or other security threats.
As long as you download your apps from the Apple app store, you're okay.
