Why would an audio track (song) drop out just for one clip? All of the clips shot on that particular day are having this issue. When i put them on the timeline and play the video the audio track plays until it gets to that clip, then goes silent.

My students are making music videos and we are having an issue where the audio track/song goes silent just for one particular clip. ANy clip that was shot that same day is having this issue. I've detached and deleted the audio from the clip, but the song track still goes silent when it hits that clip. Any ideas??
