ipod touch 5 doing anything

hi need help, i was using my ipod and looked it and when i went to unlock it it doesnt do anything, i tried charging it, i connect it to i tunes and itunes dont recognize it like if the ipod wasnt connected, my home button is broke so i cant reboot it normally, i tried those recboot app in the computer but doesnt work either, need help because like a month ago the same happened to it, when it happened the first time atleast itunes recognized it like if the ipod was on, but now nothing! now is like if the ipod were dead! please help

See what you missed here:

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

- Try another cable

- Try on another computer

- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
