I have been iphone user from iphon3g days. This is the first I am serious mechanical failure. My display was flacky withing 2 months after purchase. Now 70% time display does not light up or touch screen does not work!
Iphone6 is a great feature phone with such a poor quality.

It sounds like your screen isn't consistently showing video, and your touchscreen also not responding correctly. I would recommend resetting your phone with these steps:
Restart or reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
To reset, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.
If the issue persists, backup your device to iTunes, then restore it as new and verify that it works.
How to erase your iOS device and then set it up as a new device or restore it from backups
If it does, then restore your backup to either verify it still works and the software just needed reinstalled, or isolate the issue to the backup file itself.
