I have my google calendar synched and it works fine with my iphone and ipad. However, when I log into icloud on my PC, not everything shows up. Shouldn't I see the exact same things on icloud calendar as what I see on iphone and ipad?
No, you are using 2 separate calendars (Google/iCloud) they don't sync with each other.
Computer/tech things are not my forte, so at the risk of sounding stupid......I think I am confused because I can see my google calendar items on my 2 devices, but not on when I log into icloud. Some I can see, but not all. I just thought anything seen on the iphone/ipad would also be seen in icloud when logged in?
Because the Google calendar has nothing to do with Apple, as its name suggests it is hosted by Google. To see both calendars on your devices add both calendars to them.
The Google calendar will not appear at iCloud.com, Google have their own website.
when I open ical on both devices, I can see all the items that have been entered on my google calendar. When I log into iCloud from a PC, I can only see some of those item, not all.

Your Google calendar is NOT on iCloud, it is on GOOGLE, so look there if you want to see it on a website instead of in a client, like iCal, which can display MORE THAN ONE calendar.

On your PC. Add both accounts to whatever calendar client you are using, then you will be able to see them both at once, if you just want to see the two calendars on a website you will have to go (separately) to your Google calendar in your Gmail account for one and then to your iCloud calendar, which is in your iCloud account at www.iCloud.com
