Is it possible to upgrade an Imac with OSX 10.5.8 to at least a 10.7 version?


-What else do I need to check before upgrading?

Only if it has an Intel Core2Duo i3, i5, or i7 CPU. CoreDuo and CoreSolo support up to 10.6.8, and PowerPC only supports up to 10.5.8.

At the Apple Icon at top left>About this Mac, then click on More Info, then click on Hardware> and report this upto but not including the Serial#...
