I recently purchased a 7th Gen iPod nano which I have downloaded my music to. However, when I try to play this it is showing on the iPod as play but I am getting no sound through. I have checked the headphones and reset it. Any ideas?

I have now worked this out. The connector for the headphones was not in properly. I need to give it a bit more force which I was nervous of doing!

Haha I had the exact same problem. Once I had tried it like 4 different pairs of headphones i was ready to give my iPod back. Then I tried pushing the headphones in further and proceeded to kick myself. I seems a lot of people have the same problem, post it on here and realise a few minutes later.
