the mba halt ,then I boot it up the track and keyboard cannot work.

Hi all,

This MBA is running smooth over a year.I just close the MBA without shutdown last night.(I always do that,)

The next day,I open the MBA ,however the screen shows nothing.Then I power on it.(I suppose I do not need to power on it,since I do not shutdown MBA last night)

Then I see the login screen,however I cannot use the track pad and the keyboard.

Then I use the usb keyboard and mouse.They are working fine.

Also,I check the temperture and the fan speed.

temperture is 27.xC fan speed is 6xxxrpm .It is abnormal.I think it is related to the SMC controller.

Ok.It is time to troubleshoot.

I search in the internet.This case can resumed by reset the nram or smc.

I tried to reset the smc------------not work(I confirm I can success to reset the smc,since the power adaptor is change colour)

I tried to reset the nram------------not work(I confirm I can success to reset the nram,since the MCA reboot twice)

I tried to change the boot setting.--------success(it mean the keyboard no hardware issue)

In the boot setting page,the track pad is work.

Now ,any apple support can answer me following question.

1.Is this issue related to the SMC controller ?

2.Can I test SMC or bypass SMC?
