I can only charge my iPhone with one charger, no other chargers work?

For a very long time i could only charge my iPhone 5 with my own lightning cable (this was probably my 7th charger) but I suddenly couldn't charge my phone with any other chargers. Then of course my own charger decided to break and I am currently using my boyfriend's mophie case which is the only thing i can charge my phone with. I have tried countless numbers of chargers but none of them seem to work which is really frustrating.. Has anyone experienced the same problem?
