screen

I just received my iMac today, but the screen seems wrong. While I was using iPhoto and the free trial of Davinci Resolve, for some reason, it didn't function fast. So, I clicked iPhoto, the screen got cracked. And, briefly, the screen of Safari goes blurred on its side as well. Does anyone know what is going on here? It seems it is not a problem of iMac considering the fact that it's new. Then, is this the problem of my video converter?
