I dropped my iPhone 5c and smashed the screen and the phone doesn't power up. I still use an iPad Mini 2 but the photos that were on my phone have disappeared from my iCloud. Can anyone help? Is this something that will cost a fortune at the Apple store?
Is what something that will cost a fortune? Having the phone fixed or getting your photos back?
PhotoStream is NOT permanent storage. It only stores the last 30 days worth of photos. If you didn't back up your phone, or extract the photos to your computer before it got broken, then recovery will depend on whether or not Apple can replace the display on your phone without losing data, or whether the damage was more extensive than that.
