I delete all my pictures from my phone, yet when I plug it in it still says 2,000 pictures how do I get rid of them for space.

i Have manually detected all the pictures on my phone yet it still says I have 3gb of pictures When there's nothing there. How do I get rid of them?

iPhone 6, iOS 8.2
