13" MBPR with 4k 60hz Display?

I have been looking in to getting a 4k display to use with my late 2013 Macbook Pro Retina. I have been reading online and seem to have stumbled across some contradictory information regarding support with 60hz displays. Can my macbook support a 4k 60hz resolution monitor? and through what ports (I'm assuming thunderbolt to displayport 1.2). I understand apple has a page dedicated to display compatibility however I am not fully accustomed to the in's-and-out's of displays and would like an opinion from someone who knows what they are talking about before dropping money on an expensive display.
