iphone 6 deleted my contacts that i manually entered

today my Iphone went crazy and deleted a bunch of my contacts... now I'm left with phone numbers and contacts gone and I don't know what happened or how to fix it. Help!!!

iPhone 6, iOS 8.2

Restore your device to the backup you made after entering the contacts, or look where you are syncing the contacts and restore them from there. If no backup, no contacts.

I enter a contact now and then 1 hour later its gone...

What are you syncing your contacts with? There isn't a way for that to happen without some type of intervention from something. Please indicate what you connect your iPhone to, iCloud or iTunes. Do you sync your contacts with iTunes, iCloud, or other cloud service such as Google, etc.?
