After syncing my i-phone to the cloud, all of my important dates were deleted from my calendar. I am unable to find them anywhere and have important medical information. Help please!

After syncing my i-phone 5 to the cloud, all of my important dates were deleted or removed from my device. I have been unable to locate these even after a back-up to the computer and the cloud. I had important medical dates that I need to recover. I am using the version 7.1.1 on my device.

iPhone 5, iOS 7.1.1

If you have a backup of the iPhone taken before you attempted this sync, then restore the device to that backup. How did you sync this phone to the cloud? Had you ever synced to iCloud before?

Have you checked that all of the calendars were checked, so they displayed? In the Calendar app, select "Calendars" at the bottom and make sure they are all checked. In the IOS Settings, make sure the right accounts are there.
