constantly have to reboot apple tv? any suggestions

Every time I try to use ATV I have to reboot or unplug to get it to unstick. If we watch netflix then come back the next day ATV will open like its in NetFlix but you can't do anything. cant mover cursor. have to reboot. today it will get to the home page but I can navigate around and it also wont reboot using the down arrow / menu button. very frustrating. AirPlay ***** too...but I'll keep it to one issue right now
