SSD upgrade or windows boot

So I recently just got my Macbook Pro 13"retina. However is it possible to upgrade the SSD?. If not is it possible to install windows to an external HDD?.
Looking to keeps as much memory on the OSX side of the machine as possible as will be using it for logic and i movies ect.

Microsoft does not allow any user to install Windows on an external drive, apart from using Windows To Go on a computer with Windows 8.


Respecting to the flash storage upgrade, you should not do it even if it is possible, because you will void warranty, and looking at all the display issues that Retina MacBooks Pro have you may need it. Instead, I recommend you to return your Mac and get one with more flash storage.
