I recently installed McKeeper on my MacBook and immediately uninstalled it but now by browser doesn't work well and there are new ads poping-up constantly, what should I do?

Go to Thomas Reed's site http://www.thesafemac.com and then to AdwareMedic and use the AdwareMedic program Tom has written to cleanup and block those popup ads. Tom is a major contributor on here and great security person.

Yes, it is very safe. It is small and very efficient. You can search on here for AdwareMedic to see some posts from people about using it.
