Alternative app for Imovie for Iphone 4

Hello, iphone 4 cannot run ios 8, therefore i cannot use imovie. Does anybody know a good alternative? It must be easy, for its for a kid to make a vlog. It has to contain some nice effects and free choice of witch parts of a movie. Thanks!
