Macbook keyboard leaves marks on screen

I love my Macbook pro. I bought in large part because of the retina display. Now for the 2nd time my display is being damaged by keyboard proximity. My Macbook was once replaced due to these keyboard marks on my screen. This led to a "layer" ... "peeling" off display screen. I baby this laptop carrying it in a padded sleeve (never in backpack) and I dutifully clean display with recommended iClean products daily ... and despite this, keyboard touching screen eventually leaves permanently marks. It looks as though tolerances are too tight and keyboard causes damage. Has anybody found a solution to preventing this.
