"all of a sudden" i have to use the function key for delete, spacebar, and caps lock on an a1314 keyboard. my backup keyboard works fine. what might have changed?

Open Keyboard preferences and see if you have the use of functions keys option checked.
neither box is checked
i now have to use the function key for delete spacebar and capslock what happened
