Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
Hi - trying to make a passport photo - it must be 2'x2".
Using trackpad it's tricky to dial in the exact dimensions
by dragging as the adjuster apparently defaults to constrain.
Is there a way to type in the dimensions?

If you are in Pages v5, select your image. In the Arrange tab, disable constrain, click original size, and then direct input 2.0 in in both width and height text areas. Your image will snap down to those dimensions.
In Pages '09, select the image, and in the Metrics inspector, do the same as above.
