Can you use an iPod touch to transfer your music library to a macbook pro?

I'm going to be buying a refurbished 13.3-inch MacBook Pro 2.4GHz Dual-core Intel i5 with Retina Display in a few days, right now, I have an iPod touch 5th gen (with iOS 8.2), it has my life on it, including; music, photos, and movies. I was wondering if there was a way to transfer my music and video library onto my macbook without erasing it? I know that if I just sync my iPod to the mac it will erase everything, which is not what I want.

Thank you for any help!

Sorry for any typos.

1. Go on my computer, press music, select iTunes, select iTunes media, copy the music you are wanting by selecting it , right Clicking, then press copy. Paste it to your desktop

you will next need to uninstall iTunes. Then uninstall bonjour and apple applicarion manager and apple device manager. Then click on ipod in my computer, right click and press paste.
