I have a folder in the finder sidebar that won't delete

I deleted a folder on an external hard drive (my 1TB Time Machine) that was on the finder's sidebar and now I can't delete it from the sidebar. I thought that perhaps restarting the computer would delete it but no.

Hold down the COMMAND key then drag the entry out of the Finder's sidebar until it poofs away.
