iMac keyboard doing commands
when typing certain keys on the keyboard it's bringing up commands such as find and screen brightness instead of typing the actual letters please help

Thanks for the question. If I understand correctly, the keyboard is usign shortcuts instead of putting letters. I would recommend that you read these articles, they may be helpful in troubleshooting your issue.
