My safari is showing an alert message and is telling me to call a number and I don't trust it. I have tried force quitting and turning off the computer and it didn't work and I will not go away! Help!
MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9)
Choose Force Quit from the Apple menu, close Safari, and then launch it with the Shift key held down. If that doesn't work, temporarily disconnect the computer from the Internet.
