Cannot use Airplay from iTunes 12.1.1.4 on Windows 7 64-bit

I recently upgraded to the latest version of iTunes (12.1) and can no longer access airplay in iTunes. I've completely uninstalled iTunes (although I'm not convinced it actually removed everything) using steps hereand followed the other recommendations made here. System specs:Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (Service Pack 1), 8gb RAM, Intel i5 M430 @ 2.27 GHz.


Any suggestions?
