Virus on Safari
I have a virus on Safari. Everytime I open Safari it opens a second page that freezes my screen and says I have a virus call apple at provides a phone number that doesn't work.

Choose Force Quit from the Apple menu, close Safari, and then launch it with the Shift key held down. If that doesn't work, temporarily disconnect the computer from the Internet.

i just found something on an apple site that said to open safari while holding down the shift key i did that and it cleared the problem
