I lost connection to my wifi network recently. Other devices ca connect to the network but not my Iphone 4 S on operating system 7.1.2. I reset the network connection and restarted the Ipone with no success. My service provider says it is phone issue?

I can not connect to my ISP network from my Iphone 4S. This just happen recently. Other devices can connect. I reset my network connection and restarted the phone with no success. My OS is 7.1.2 on the phone. The ISP washed there hands of the situation and say it is a issue with Apple? Does anyone have more insight?

Can you connect to other WiFi networks? If so, then it would appear to be a problem with your router, not the phone. Have you powered down your router and then restarted it?

I restarted the router twice with no success. I also reset my network connections on the Iphone and restarted the phone with no success. Other devices such as my Ipad don't have a problem. I read somewhere where it may be a ISP security type setting not allowing the Iphone to connect? Any other suggestions.

you said that you've restarted you router? do you mean on/off? try to change the SSID from your router then check if your iphone can check your network again, of can it detect other wifi around you that's available?

Yes I put the router on/off. I even deleted content and settings on the Iphone as if setting up a new phone (suggested by apple genius staff) . It works a little better but the connection comes and goes. Any more suggestions?
