So i have this ipod 4g and once i had disabled it and i kept it in my pocket the whole day but after i enabled it then it sometimes charged and sometimes it didnt so i cleant it with a compass but its still dead so now what and i even connected to my windows pc so i need a solution

I tried all charging sources so im gonna go with changing the cable but the original costs alot so what do you reccomend
I would try another cable but y can go to the Genius bar too.
