itunes could not connect to this iphone. An unknown error occurred (0xE8000084)

Hi

I updated my iPad 2 with iOS 8.2. It broke my iPad. After update I get below error & now its continuously rebooting on its own, while showing Apple logo & sometimes the Hello screen that crashes in couple of seconds.

I had that problem, too with my iphone 5c. As it turned out, it was the charging case that was causing the problem. (I have one of those cases that charges my phone when my battery is low. Once I took it out of the case and connected it directly, itunes recognized it.
