Safari (8.0.4) is saying the Adobe Flash player is out of date. I have downloaded the updater and tried to install but the installer itself keeps crashing.
I tried dowloading again with the same result. Tried on a completely different computer ,same result. Whats up??

Flash 17 ???
MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.2)
I have also tried unistailng Flash, Restarted, ran Disk utility, repair permissions, then re downloaded the flash installer.
Same result Installer crashes
1. System Preferences > Flash Player > Advanced > Delete All
Press “Delete All” button under “Browsing Data and Settings”.
2. Install Adobe Flash Player.
System Preferences > Flash Player > Updates
Press the “Check Now” button.

Download it and quit Safari from Safari menu in the menu bar.
Follow the prompts to install Adobe Flash Player.
Ended up having to go to Abobe Help site directly. There, there was a separate link there to download the updater. It alll seemed to work propely after that.
